Readers Want Sarah Jessica Parker to Bring Back Bitten

Wednesday September 2, 2009

Since retailer Steve & Barry's closed, leaving Sarah Jessica Parker's clothing line Bitten without a home, there's been a void for many customers who liked both the fit and the price points of Bitten clothing. Many of our readers have written about their sadness when they found out that Sarah Jessica Parker's Bitten clothing would no longer be available. Here are just a few of the many comments that readers have posted about Sarah Jessica Parker's Bitten clothing line:

  • "I really hope she revives this line for all of us." - Noreen
  • "I love SJP’s Bitten line. I just graduated from college, so having her cute clothes with a price I could afford was awesome...I wish she would bring them back!" - Molly
  • "I love my Bitten jeans and wool blend pants! They are so comfortable and fit perfectly....Sarah, hope you reconsider and bring your clothing line back!" - Miriam
  • "I absolutely love the Bitten Line. I was finally able to find jeans that fit my body type without any alterations...Even if it was relaunched with higher prices I would still spend the money for the great clothing and accessories!!!" - Charity

Because Bitten focused on affordable clothing, it would certainly seem appropriate to bring it back now. With the current economy, everybody appreciates being able to save a few dollars whenever possible. One reader suggested that Target would be a good home for Bitten while another thought H&M would be a good place to sell Sarah Jessica Parker's line. In any case, Bitten may be gone, but it certainly hasn't been forgotten by satisfied customers.

I LOVE your clothing line. I shopped in Steve & Barrys in whatever city I was in, I shopped in both stores in New York. Just trying to make a point. Maybe you and the others who shared the store could join together and open your own stores. The public really misses you very much. Diana

(6) Ria says:

PLEASE bring ur clothes back. Yes, she should either have her own website to sell her clothes, that way she can sell it at that affordable price. Another way would be through target, Walmart, and Kmart.

Unfortunately they just don’t last forever! I have been looking for Bitten jeans since S&B closed and can’t find much. There are some on EBay but mostly rather large sizes. I have my one and only pair on right now and there is a hole that just appeared so they cannot be worn anymore…..I’m upset. I have searched & searched for the “perfect” jeans, found them and now I can’t get them anywhere!. SJP should definitely sell them on-line.
