Petite actress Sally Field plays Mary Todd Lincoln in the Steven Spielberg movie Lincoln that came out on November 16. Although both Sally Field and Mary Todd Lincoln have something in common -- their short stature -- Sally Field, at 66, is 23 years older than Mary Todd Lincoln was when her husband Abraham Lincoln became the sixteenth President of the United States in 1861. Sally Field's a dynamite actress though, and Hollywood's known for doing wonders with make-up, so perhaps the age discrepancy won't be noticeable, especially since Mary Todd Lincoln didn't look as youthful in her forties as many 40-something women do today.
