First Lady Michelle Obama didn't miss a fashion beat in her wardrobe choices for the 2013 inauguration. Her fashion choices included a dress by Reed Krakoff, coordinated coat and dress from Thom Browne, and a spectacular ball gown by Jason Wu, the same designer who made her inaugural ball gown in 2009 for the first inauguration of President Barack Obama.
Strange as it may seem, petites can actually look good in some of the styles that the First Lady favors, despite the fact that she's nearly 6' tall, and all women can benefit from some of the successful style strategies that the First Lady uses.

The Thom Browne dress is beautiful. I’m sure I have seen that dress catered for petite women somewhere.
