Retailers have pushed garments with horizontal sailor stripes or wider rugby stripes all year, and Michael Kors evidently has embraced the trend although, thankfully, not all the striped spring fashion shown at the Michael Kors Spring 2013 Fashion Show was horizontally oriented. Petites who want to look a bit taller and thinner will have more success wearing vertical stripes, such as those that appear on the pants pictured above at right.
