Petite actress and nominee for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Help, Jessica Chastain wowed her fans as she wore an Alexander McQueen strapless gown on the red carpet at the 2012 Academy Awards. Accompanied by her grandmother, Jessica Chastain stood out in her black gown, which was heavily embroidered in gold. She accessorized with $2,000,000 in yellow diamond jewelry from Harry Winston. This was quite a different look from the bright blue dress Jessica Chastain wore at the Screen Actors' Guild only a couple of weeks before the Oscars.

Reported on the red carpet: The petite fashionista said that she heard about her nomination for Best Supporting Actress when she was attending the Armani Spring Fashion Show during Fashion Week in Paris.
