Wearable fall fashion trend #7 is investment dressing. To take advantage of this trend, look for suits or separates with classic styling that will stand the test of time. A $400 suit that you wear a hundred times makes a better investment than a $30 dress that you wear only once when we compare $4 per wearing to $30 per wearing. Items you select for investment dressing should truly be of high quality--well made of fine fabric. It's also worth having these items altered. Even though the initial investment may be steep, investment clothing makes sense, both from a financial and from a fashion standpoint. The only downside? During tough economic times, it can be difficult to lay out the initial investment, but if you have the money, it's worth it.
