Discovering my fahion self.
- Hi. I'm trying to have a new sense of fashion. I have done every quiz available to know my fashion personality but how do I know for sure what makes me look good or not? I've always been kind of casual because I'm chubby and embarassed of my body. Anyone has any tips? :) Thank you ^^

Classic casual black
- I like a good classic look that can be comfortably worn but not frumpy. Jeans that are so baggy that they look a size too big, boxy t-shirts and clunky sneakers are a big no-no. So are sequins, bright colors and flower prints, for that matter. Basic black has always been my staple and I like to wear it in the form of snug jeans and tops with leather boots and preferably a nice talored leather jacket or trenchcoat. Dresses are nice too as long as they are flattering. Top it off with a nice no-fuss modern or classic hairstyle and I'm good to go!

Classic Chic
- I work in a bank and in Asia, the dress code is not fixated. I see colleagues wearing short skirts and leggings (you get the drift). However my take is that i will always stick to classic lines, as i need to project a professional image all the time. I will mix and match around with different colours, fabrics, accessories. Hi heels are a must but i have started changing occasionally to lower wedges and heels lately due to sore knees and back.

Not true
- Not true. Im often told my personality is laid back friendly and sweet but my style is very rebel chic. Lots of black and combat boots.

When your career takes over
- Over the last four years of beginning a life of corporate “business casual” attire, I have come to realize that my wardrobe doesn’t suit me per se…it suits the conformity of cubicle life. Liking change and disliking the mundane nature cubicle life in a corporate office brings, I go shopping for the sake of buying something NEW, clothes that can easily go from corporate to cabana as not to create a closet divided. Previously an ICU RN, on days off, jeans and a comfy tee would reign supreme. That has definitely changed. In a round about way, my true fashion personality, the ease of tone on tone modern, effortlessly stylish yet no fuss transitional comfort, would totally land me in a creative career. I'm thinking perhaps one should fit their lifestyle to their true fashion personality as fashion is a form of self expression and indeed more pure.

eccentric and unique
- at home I go for for thin cotton tunics and linnen pants for comfort as I do house work, when going out the house I like to dress eccentric and vintage and Gothic, I do not like modern trends at all and favour either Indian/Pakistani clothes or Gothic Lolita and as Victorian as I can be, I love that style.

SportyNatural, Dramatic
- My lifestyle has never dictated my fashion personality. I believe fashion personality is like temperament, it's"in-born". I have always needed to be comfortable and I hate to iron and I love a wash and wear hair style. I won't buy clothes unless I can throw them in the washing machine. I almost never wear skirts and I live in knits. (I too miss multiples.) I have been this way since I was a very young. Now, as a personal image consultant, I get dressed up by wearing a funky lapel pin, bigger earrings and bright colors.

Feminine Flare
- I never had to give my fashion much thought until I started working at a bank. When you work at a bank you are expected to wear jewelry and accesories and business attire every day. But the simple business suit can get so boring. I developed a style with a definite feminine flare that declares my womanliness while at the same time avoiding the "too sexy' range. fitted flared skirts with sleek sweater tops are always classy, or a cute sleeveless top paired with slacks topped off by a short sleeved blazer. Retro style shoes always put the finishing touch on a flared skirt-ensemble. Jewelry shouild never be too large or loud. Stick with silvery tones or classy crystal. The delicate but iceed-out look draws many compliments without being overly gaudy.

not even slightly!!!
- as a 'city gal' my wardrobe has always been heavy on skirts, coordinating tops, and dresses. i lived, and continue to use black as my 'goto' color, and work my accessories around the outfit, to change the look... however, i'm now living in the country, where people live in jeans, sneakers and trucker caps. i've received wedding invitations which specified 'good jeans, only' (didn't attend)... so, while i've unbest to the extent of owning a few pairs of jeans, i still dress for the city, and probably always will. i HATE slobby, slovenly, casual (the wretched 'comfortable'!! ha!! i'm incredibly comfortable in pantyhose, suits and pumps!!!

Challenging
- I am 60 years of age, short and excess poundage. However I do like to dress fashionably, with lovely colours. High heels are out at any time,so require something comfortable, low, and for most occasions. For smaller women there seems to be lots of choices, but I can not afford the high costs of some plus sizes clothes, I think 1 or 2 good outfits I can mix or match would suit me.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no
- I'm 4'11" and I've been pretty much the same size for years, so a lot of my clothes have been around for a long time. I have kind of an artsy personality, and some of my clothes reflect this in the colors that I wear...but other clothes, left over from times that I had to dress up to give talks....are very business-like and aren't necessarily reflective of my personality these days.

Orphaned
- For 15 years I bought all of my clothes from the Weekenders clothing line. They were perfect for my office and I was confident in mixing and matching outfits. Everything was machine washable knits, perfect for travel. But they went out of business last summer. I have a lot in my closet, but eventually I will have to buy new clothes. I have hardly been in a clothing store for 10 years, as these came mail order. I guess I'll be back to Lands End...

I 'Flintstone' It
- My attire is completely dictated by my lifestyle! I'm a work-at-home mom, which (especially when the kids were young) could get messy and required me to be able to move quickly and comfortably. Because of this, the clothing makeover shows really didn't show me anything that was practical for my life. So I've ended up finding a look I like, and cloning it into several outfits, so I look like one of those cartoon characters that's always wearing the same thing. For example, I went through a phase where I had a bunch of matching sweatsuits in various colors, and I would just wear one of them every day. (People knew I changed my clothes, but the look didn't change.) Right now, it's nice jeans and classic tees. This summer, it will probably be maxi dresses. It may be predictable (and I stress about what to wear to the occasional client meeting) but it keeps things simple, I don't have to think about what to wear too much, and I know it looks good on me.
